On my way to and from work I cross Hyde Park Corner using the Wellington Arch. There are two variations of the button working the crossing. One for pedestrians and cyclists and one for those on horseback.

But, why!? Are there really that many mounted police mooching about in the city centre to warrant this?
It's the main route from Hyde Park and Rotten Row where the Queen's guards train down to Horseguard's Parade. So quite often you get this lot...
